Who we are. Number 1 Roofing is a trading name of Coresight Creative Limited (company no. 16828110, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX). We are the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website. Contact: quotes@number-1-roofing.co.uk.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect your name, phone number, postcode, property type, what work you need and anything you write in the message box. Email address is optional. If you ring us we may note the same details.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To contact you about your enquiry, arrange a survey and send a quote — this is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To carry out the work and keep records of it, including guarantee records — performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in keeping proper business records.
• To measure which adverts bring people to the site — only with your consent via the cookie banner.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails or texts unless you have asked us to.

Who sees it

Your enquiry goes by email to the roofing team who will quote and carry out your work. It passes through our email provider (Resend) and our website host (Vercel), both of which process it on our instructions. We do not pass your details to anyone else except where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for the length of the guarantee plus one year, so we can honour it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing quotes@number-1-roofing.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
