We come out, get up and look properly, and show you photos of what we found. If it only needs a small repair, that is what we will say.

One price for the whole job including scaffold, skips and clearing up. Materials named, timescale stated, guarantee in writing.

We tell you the start date and stick to it. Your home is sheeted and protected, and we keep you posted every day.

Old materials gone, garden and drive swept and magnet-checked for nails. We walk you round the finished job before we ask for the final balance.

Mess, weather, timing, money
The four things everyone asks about, answered honestly.
How long does a roof replacement take?
A typical terrace or semi takes about a week, including scaffold going up and coming down. Repairs are usually done in a day. We tell you the timescale in the quote and stick to it.
Will the work be messy?
Roofing is dusty work but your home should not suffer for it. We sheet up, use a skip or a wagon for the old materials, and run a magnet sweep over the garden and drive for nails before we leave.
Do you work in bad weather?
We will not open a roof up if the forecast is bad, and if the weather turns we sheet it down so your home stays dry. It is Manchester, so we plan around rain rather than pretend it will not happen.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or card. For larger jobs we agree staged payments in the quote, and you never pay the final balance until you are happy with the finished roof.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Only on the first day so we can run through the plan, and at the end for the walk-round. The rest of the time we just need access to the outside.
